GLOW

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
[Romans 8:38-39]

I am a daughter dedicated to one Father who, in the ultimate sign of love,
gave His Son up on a cross so that you and I could be free.
Free from the price to pay for our imperfection, free to love Him and serve Him.

Hey, I'm an architecture student! Check out some of my favourite things here: Deconstructing Architecture

Thankful :)

I’m so sorry I’ve been away for a while my friends!  Been busy with work (the time for Christmas shopping is upon us and I’m preparing my heart for the ensuing insanity), uni folio interviews and my 1950s 21st birthday party ^_^

It was a truly blessed weekend filled with so many good times and fond memories to reminisce about in the future.  Incredibly grateful for the greetings, the love, the gifts and support from my friends and my family.  I’ll tell you more about it when the I get the nicer photos of the party from my ‘photographer’, Jenn ^_^

(I was so honoured that the brothers really thought about what to get an architecture student: diary, sketchbook and notebook :D  And one of my dearest friends, who bought me the Francis Chan book I’ve been eyeing for months!)

Wow.  I’m 21.  I’ve been alive, breathing air, moving, eating, traversing the world, forging friendships.  I’ve become a disciple, still struggling though very much striving to stay faithful to God.  I feel no older, however even more thankful for the life I have, the many things I have learned, the opportunities to choose a career that utilises my talents as well as my passion for built environments, work, to love, to help others.  I am grateful eternally for the the friends I have found, the family I have grown to love more and more every day.  They have created a wonderful shifting kaleidoscope of vivid colours.

(More books!!! xD  And the most beautifully scented soy candles created by an awesome brother who found out just how much I love candles!  He gave me enough to last at least 10 years, no joke!  Maybe now I can enjoy a lavender scented bath reading the books in candlelight to relieve stress every so often ;])

Thank you my dear cyberfriends!  Thank you for entertaining me, for teaching me so many things, for helping me sort through pain and make the decision to change my heart and affect my happiness.  Thank you for your spiritual guidance and prayers, for simply reading, for understanding.  Having this outlet has made an immeasurable difference to how I think and react to situations.  Many, many thank you’s, hugs and love to you all!

(That red teapot in the background, it’s actually a whole lot bigger than it looks xD  The one with the polka dots, it’s actually a teapot on top of a teacup :D And the red espadrilles are from my parents, they’re so CUTE!)
